Aina Ulu: Land Legacy Education |
The Kamehameha Schools’ Land Assets Division utilizes the Schools’ agricultural and conservation lands to engage community-based asset management and eco-cultural education. The `Āina Ulu program works with agencies, organizations and community program providers on Kamehameha Schools’ land to collaboratively reach to more Hawaiian children. `Āina Ulu collaborations serves students of all ages at various sites on Kaua`i, O`ahu, Moloka`i and Hawai`i. These programs bridge land management and education to incorporate resource stewardship and education in an integrated context for hands-on learning. For more information on these programs and how you can get involved, please call (808) 534-8194.
